Canada Weekly Rig Count Down 12 to 212
Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs decreased by 12 rigs to a total of 224 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of February 22nd. From last Friday, Alberta rig counts went from 153 to 144. Saskatchewan's rig count remained at 53. Oil drilling went from 152 to 144; natural gas rigs went from 72 to 68.
