Tourmaline and Peyto are Alberta’s top gas drillers so far this year
In January and February 2017, the BOE Report well map counts 268 gas wells spudded. The two most active companies were Tourmaline Oil Corp and Peyto Exploration and Development - each spudding 31 wells. Canada weekly rig count steady at 335
Western Canada's fleet of drilling rigs are still busy with 335 actively drilling according to data collected by Baker Hughes.
