Canada Weekly Rig Count Up 6 to 76
Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs increased by 6 rigs to a total of 76 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of January 4th. From last Friday, Alberta rig counts went from 57 to 61. Saskatchewan's rig count went from 0 to 2. Oil drilling went from 15 to 20; natural gas rigs increased from 55 to 56.
