Canada Weekly Rig Count Down 19 to 178
Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs decreased to a total of 178 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of September 28th. From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased from 126 to 110. Saskatchewan's rig count decreased from 50 to 48. Oil drilling went from 135 to 122; natural gas rigs decreased from 62 to 56.
