Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs decreased to a total of 197 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of September 21st. From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased from 156 to 126. Saskatchewan's rig count increased from 48 to 50. Oil drilling went from 148 to 135; natural gas rigs decreased from 78 to 62.
