Canada’s rig count rises for 4th straight week

Canadian oil and gas companies added rigs for a 4th straight week as winter drilling continues. Currently, western Canada has 234 rigs working. Up 4 from last week. The recent rise in drilling in western Canada has occurred in conjunction with a significant rise in oil prices after an OPEC-announced production cut.
