Exxon Mobil is preparing to run Venezuelan crude oil at its Baton Rouge, Louisiana refinery, said people familiar with plant operations. The discount on Western Canada Select crude oil to North American benchmark West Texas Intermediate futures widened slightly on Tuesday.
