US congressman files lawsuit over fracking

Oilsands capital given rights to more land

The provincial government has given the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, which includes Fort McMurray, the rights to more than 22,000 hectares of Crown land. US natural gas supplies grew last week

NEW YORK (AP) -- The nation's natural gas supplies rose last week, the government said Thursday. The Energy Department's Energy Information Administration reported that natural gas in storage grew by 41 billion cubic feet to 2.786 trillion cubic feet for the week ended July 19.
