EDMONTON - Alberta wants to have its say when British Columbia goes to the Supreme Court for a ruling on who is in charge of interprovincial projects like pipelines. The Alberta government says it has filed a notice of intervention in B.C.'s appeal to the top court. Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says the B.C. Oil hovers near 6-wk highs amid Gulf of Mexico storm, Middle East tensions
Oil prices hovered near six-week highs on Friday as U.S. oil producers in the Gulf of Mexico cut more than half their output in the face of a tropical storm and as tensions continued to simmer in the Middle East.
