HALIFAX - Shell is moving to seal off the second of its two deepwater exploration wells off Nova Scotia. The company began work on the Monterey Jack well on the Scotian Shelf on Sept. 25, shortly after abandoning its Cheshire well in the Nova Scotia offshore, about 250 kilometres southeast of Halifax. RCMP say someone did $500K damage to a pipeline in northwestern Alberta
HYTHE, Alta. - Mounties are investigating after a pipeline in northwestern Alberta was vandalized, causing more than $500,000 damage. Const. Michelle Mosher says an employee with a construction crew reported the vandalism from the site north of Hythe on Sunday morning.
