Canada Weekly Rig Count Unchanged From Last Week
Western Canada’s fleet of drilling rigs remained at 223 according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week of August 3rd. From one week ago, Alberta rig counts increased from 150 to 156. Aug 3 (Reuters) - U.S. energy companies this week cut oil rigs for a second time in the past three weeks as the rate of growth has slowed over the past couple of months with recent declines in crude prices.
