Worker dies in accident at Manitoba oilwell site
VIRDEN, Man. - A worker has been killed at an oilwell work site in Manitoba.RCMP say a crew was working at the site in the Rural Municipality of Pipestone on Tuesday when a worker was struck by the weight arm of a pump jack.The 20-year-old from Wapella, Sask., was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health is assisting with the investigation.The name of the worker is not being released.
