TransAlta signs deal to convert Washington facility from coal to gas
CALGARY - TransAlta Corp. has signed a deal with Puget Sound Energy Inc. to convert a coal-fired power plant in Washington state to natural gas power generation. The power utility says it will need to spend about US$600 million to extend the useful life of the Centralia Unit 2 facility and convert it to natural gas. TC Energy boss advises U.S. on speeding along oil and gas infrastructure
CALGARY - A Canadian pipeline boss led a new report advising the Trump administration on how to more quickly build new oil and gas infrastructure in the United States amid a push north of the border to do the same. Trans Mountain reports $127M Q3 profit as revenue and utilization rise
CALGARY - Pipeline operator Trans Mountain Corp. says it earned a profit in its latest quarter compared with a loss a year ago as its utilization rate and revenue rose compared with last year.
