Canada’s fleet of active drilling rigs shrank from 99 to 85 since last week according to data from Baker Hughes. Total drilling count was 85 at January 3. 27 rigs were drilling for oil; 58 for natural gas. The drilling activity in Alberta remained at 64 from last week.
